Second highest search about Blue Whale reported from Assam in past week : Google trends

Guwahati, Sept 1 (IBNS): More reports have came to light as more teenagers of Assam have been attracted to the online Blue Whale challenging game.

The Google trends reported that, searching about the deadly online game in Assam has gradually increased.

In last week, second highest searched about the suicide game in Google page have been reported from Assam in the country.

The Google trends reported that, highest searching reported from Puduchery among all states of the country during the period.

According to the Google trends data, much more searching about Blue Whale have been gradually increased in all eight north eastern states in recent period.

On the other hand, among the cities of India, highest searching about the game was reported from Upper Assam’s city Jorhat.

The first incident of the online Blue Whale challenge in Assam came to light after a minor boy in Guwahati was admitted at Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) on August 29.

The online suicide game continued to attract players in Assam with six more teenagers injuring themselves while meeting the challenges posed in the game surfacing.

Meanwhile, the Kamrup (Metro) distrct administration has formed a special committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner to make awareness among the guardians, school teachers and to monitor the incidents.
