Sensex, Nifty hit record high today

Mumbai, Dec 4 (IBNS): Indian stock markets hit record highs on Thursday as the Sensex rose over 350 points and the Nifty climbed over 85 points in early trade, media reports said.

The Sensex made a new high of 28,822 while the Nifty hit an all-time high of 8,626.95 in opening trade.

As of 09.30 am, the Sensex traded 176 points higher at 28,619 while the Nifty was up at 8,572 gaining 35 points, reports said.
