Alwar, Rajasthan, Oct 12 (IBNS) : National disaster response force (NDRF) personnel are racing against time to rescue a six-year-old girl who fell in a bore well in Barer village near Rajasthan's Alwar on Tuesday, a Hindustan Times report said.

Komal, the girl, fell into the newly-dug  bore well as she continued playing near it in a field even after  brother returned home.

Family members and villagers started searching for her when she did not return home. When they found out that she had fallen into the well, they informed the police late in the night.

The NDRF team reached Barer village Wednesday morning and started the rescue operation.

The girl has been located between 100 to 110 feet in the bore well.

Reports said the  rescue team has not been able to detect any activity or movement by her.
