Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli to file nomination

Rae Bareli, UP, Apr 2 (IBNS) Congress president on Wednesday arrived in Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh to file her nominations for the Lok Sabha polls.

Her main challenger from the constituency is BJP candidate Ajay Agarwal.

Sonia Gandhi earlier won two consecutive polls in the 2004 and 2009 from the seat. 

Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had won from the seat elections. 

Sonia Gandhi during her visit will also go to Takia village where head of Muslim Personal Law Board Ali Miyan was born, said reports.
