Sonia Gandhi returns from abroad after check- up

New Delhi, Mar 24 (IBNS) : president Sonia Gandhi, who was in abroad for a "health check-up" since early March, returned to India on Friday, reports said.

Sonia was escorted by her son Rahul.

The Congress did not officially say where Sonia went for her check up, but  The Times of India reported that she was in the US.

The ailing Congress chief didn't campaign in the February-March Assembly elections in five states.
