South Eastern Railway to run Holi Special trains to sea resort Digha

The South Eastern Railway will run weekly Holi special trains to sea resort Digha in Medinipur in view of the rush and fresh demands for such trains, official sources said on Tuesday.

The 02847 Santragachi-Digha Holi Special will leave Santragachi at 09.10 hrs on March 23 and 24 and on March 30 and will reach Digha at 12.45 hrs the same day.

In the return direction, 02848 Digha-Santragachi Holi Special will leave Digha at 13.10 hrs on March 23 and March 30 and will arrive at Santragachi at 16.50 hrs on the same day.

The Santragachi-Digha Holi Special will leave Santragachi at 08.10 hrs on March 24 and 31 and will reach Digha at 11.55 hrs on the same day.

In the return direction, 02898 Digha-Santragachi Holi Special will leave Digha at 13.10 hrs on 24 and 31 and arrive in Santragachi at 16.50 hrs on the same day.

The trains will have stoppages at Uluberia, Bagnan, Mecheda, Tamluk, and Kanthi en route.
