Special TADA Court convicts gangster Abu Salem in 1995 murder case

Mumbai, Feb 16 (IBNS): Special Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) court on Monday convicted extradited gangster Abu Salem in connection with the 1995 murder case of a Mumbai-based builder Pradeep Jain.

Jain was was shot dead by assailants outside his Juhu bunglow on March 7, 1995.

According the the prosecutor, Salem had gotten Jain killed over a property dispute.

Nameem Khan, an accused in the case had turned approver. ‎ ‎

Riyaz Siddiqui, another accused in the case had turned approver then retracted and is being tried separately.
