Sushma Swaraj reaches China

Beijing, Jan 31 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday reached China for her four-day visit to the Asian nation.

During her visit, Swaraj is likely to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.

MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted: "Ni Hao. External Affairs Minister @SushmaSwaraj reaches Beijing on 1st visit for talks with Chinese leadership."

This is Swaraj's first visit to China since taking over the office last year.

Apart from other senior officials, Swaraj is accompanied by new Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar.
