Suspected terrorist gunned down in Telengana operation

Shadnagar,Telengana, Aug 8 (IBNS) : A suspected terrorist has been reported killed near Hyderabad in an operation jointly carried out by the local police and the National Investigation Agency, reports said.

The incident took place in a residential area of Shadnagar in Telengana's Mahubnagar district, 60 km off the state capital.

Heavy security forces have been deployed in the area and the operation is reportedly still on.

Details are still awaited.

The NIA has recently arrested several young men in Telangana for alleged links to terror group ISIS.
