TDP announces to be a part of NDA

Hyderabad, Apr 6 (IBNS): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday announced that his party will be a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led- National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
"On behalf of Shiromani Akali Dal and the NDA am delighted to inform you that Chandrababu Naidu's party will be a part of the NDA now," SAD leader Naresh Gujral said while addressing a press conference.
 
"With his joining NDA, you will see India progressing rapidly," Gujral said.
 
"Chandrababu Naidu will be a co-architect with Narendra Modi to build a corruption-free and Congress-free India," he said.
 
After announcing the his alliance with the NDA, Naidu said, "Our aim is to have a very stable, corruption free and honest government at the centre. I am confident that Modi will able to achieve this, he has already proved that in Gujarat. I am confident with this alliance, we will get 300 plus seats."
 
BJP leader Prakash Javadekar said the alliance with TDP will help them achieve them 272 plus seats.
 
"Both the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can exists peacefully and prosper rapidly. With the announcement Chandrababu Naidu is going to made, we will achieve 272 plus, " he said.
 
Meanwhile, even as the formal announcements were being made, TDP workers protested and raised slogans against the alliance outside the residence of party chief Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad.
