Teacher arrested for beating 6-yr-old with iron ruler

New Delhi, Aug 17 (IBNS) A lady teacher of a kindergarten school in Ghaziabad has been arrested for beating up a six-year-old child with an iron ruler. The child's crime: he did not finish his homework.
 
According to media reports on Sunday, the teacher, identified as Joshna Nigam, has been arrested. She was working with the Krishna Public School in Vijay Nagar area of Ghaziabad. 
 
She has been slapped a case under section 323 of the Indian Penal Code for "voluntarily causing injury".
 
The boy came back home with torture marks all over his back, prompting the parents to file a case.
