Three accused have been arrested by the police in the case of the death of a 10-year-old girl after eating cake in Patiala.

The arrest of the said accused has been done by setting a trap by the family itself.

The police said that the family of the 10-year-old girl Manvi once again ordered a cake to reach the accused and arrested a young man who came to give the cake and then approached the owners of the bakery.

However, the bakery owner has not been arrested yet.

The police will present all the three accused in the court and remand them. Among the arrested accused are a Zomato boy and two other persons.

The accused have been identified as Ranjith, Pawan Mishra and Vijay.

It may be mentioned that 10-year-old Manvi, who lives in Aman Nagar, Patiala, died after eating cake on her birthday. On March 24, the family members ordered a cake online for the first time on Manvi's birthday.
