Puri/IBNS: A graffiti with a threat of terrorist attack was on Wednesday seen on the wall of the Jagannath Temple in Odisha's Puri triggering security concerns, media reports said.

"Terrorists will destroy the temple," and "Kula Budiba" (your clan will be destroyed)" were noticed on two spots in the temple, India Today reported.

"This morning, through social media and various other sources, we learned that something had been written on the wall of the Budhi Maa Thakurani temple," police said as quoted by the broadcaster.

"We investigated the matter and found certain objectionable remarks related to Srimandir written there, which we have taken note of."

A special team has been mobilised to discover the intent behind such a message.

The message on the walls which are protected under CCTV cameras have raised alarm over the security.
