Traders Federation Baramulla calls on Advisor Baseer Khan, highlight demands: Kashmir

Srinagar/IBNS: A delegation of Traders Federation Baramulla today called on the advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan at Civil Secretariat here and raised several developmental issues and demands of the district.

Traders Federation led by its president Mohammad Ashraf Ganai briefed the Advisor about the problems faced by them in the district and submitted a memorandum of demands.
They demanded speedy construction of NTPHC at the old district hospital and augmentation of staff strength for NTPHC, while necessitating parking slots for the town and implementation of a decongestion plan for the old town of Baramulla.

The Traders Federation also raised the demand for reconstruction of mini secretariat and beautification of civil lines area by way of reconstruction of roads, lanes, drainage,  street lights. They also drew the attention of Baseer towards the rehabilitation of street vendors.

The Federation also demanded a separate water supply and dedicated receiving station for the Government Medical College Baramulla, besides other issues of public importance.
While interacting with the delegations, Baseer said that the Lieutenant Governor’s  Administration is committed to the development and welfare of all sections of society and is taking effective steps in doing so.

Khan gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their issues and demands will be raised before the appropriate forum for redressal on merit.
