Truck rams into toll plaza cabin, bill collector killed
Kakinada, July 14 (UNI): A truck loaded carrying an earth remover lost control and rammed into a toll plaza cabin at Krishnavaram near Kirlampudi razing it to ground and crushing the toll fee collector Undri Raju (28) and killing him on the spot.
The truck was heading to Vijayawada from Visakhapatnam.
The truck driver fled from the scene leaving the truck.
Tension gripped the area for quite some time with relatives of the deceased squatting on the road seeking justice.
Traffic remain paralysed for over an hour and the police and revenue authorities have cleared them assuring of compensation to the kin of the deceased.
