Two BJP workers injured in a group clash with Congress workers in Assam’s Karimganj district

Guwahati, Apr 17 (IBNS): Two workers of the BJP were injured in a group clash between the workers of the Congress and BJP in Assam’s Karimganj district on Tuesday ahead of the second phase of Lok Sabha polling.

The incident was happened at Kanishail village area near Karimganj town where two BJP workers were injured in the group clash.

The injured persons were identified as Abidur Rahman and Tahidur Rahman and they were immediately admitted at Karimganj civil hospital.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged at Karimganj police station.

Polling for Karimganj Lok Sabha constituency and four other Lok Sabha seats in second phase will be held on Apr 18.
