Two hardcore criminals arrested in Pune

Pune, Apr 14 ( UNI) In the wake of the Lok Sabha election, Pune police have taken strong action against the four hard core criminals under the act of Maharashtra Prevention of Dangers Act (MPDA) who were allegedly involved in number of cases. 

Talking to UNI, DCP Bacchan Singh said, "As a preventative measure in the view of Lok Sabha election, we have sent to all the criminals to Yerawada jail on Saturday."


The DCP said the four had created the 'reign of terror' at Tadiwala road areas of the city. The arrest of four has given a big relief to police and public.


"The criminals will be in jail for one year as per the act of MPDA," he added.
