Two killed, 1 injured as dumper hits bike in UP's Firozabad

Two persons were killed and one was injured when a dumper hit a motorcycle in the Shikohabad area of Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, a police officer said.

Police identified the deceased as Omveer (28) and his brother-in-law Pushpendra (22).

Circle Officer (CO) Praveen Kumar Tiwari said three youths were injured in the accident.

"The injured were taken to the district hospital where doctors declared Omveer (28) and his brother-in-law Pushpendra (22) dead," he said.

He said a youth Omkar Singh sustained serious injuries in the incident and was being treated at the hospital.

"The youths were going to Mainpuri from Delhi to celebrate Holi festival when the accident occurred. The bodies have been handed over to the family after postmortem," he said.
