Two missing Anantnag girls found in Delhi

Anantnag, July 29 (UNI): Two missing girls from Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir were found in Delhi and handed over to their parents in this south Kashmir district, a police spokesman said on Monday evening.

He said parents of two girls had approached the police station at Ashmuqam saying that their two daughters aged about 14 or 15 years, had gone missing from their native village in Anantnag.

Consequently, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anantnag constituted a special team for tracking the missing girls.

After making strenuous efforts and with the assistance of technical team, Anantnag Police traced both the girls in Delhi.

They were safely brought back to their home. The parents and other family members appreciated the timely action of police in tracing the missing girls, he said.
