Two naval officers of crashed Dornier still missing

Panaji, Mar 26(IBNS) Two naval officers aboard the Dornier that crashed on Tuesday still remained missing even as debris of the maritime surveillance aircraft were found.

Reports said INS Makar, a naval hydrographic vessel, has detected a large metallic object likely to be the fuselage of the ill- fated Navy Dornier.

The aircraft which was on a routine training sortie crashed on Tuesday  and two officers on board are missing.

"One survivor has been rescued. Search is on to locate two more officers including a pilot and observer," navy officials said.
