Two people charred to death in Assam’s Karbi Anglong

Guwahati/IBNS: Two people were charred to death after head on collision between a scooter and a truck in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district.

The incident took place at Silanijan area near Bokajan in the hill district on Monday evening where there was a head on collision between a speedy truck and a scooter.

The truck bearing registration number AS-01LC-2466 was coming towards Bokajan and following the accident the truck caught fire.

Two scooter riders were charred to death in the incident.

The deceased persons are yet to be identified.

Later, fire tenders had managed to douse the flames.
