Acting on a tip-off, the police had launched an operation at Krishnai area in the bordering district of Meghalaya and nabbed the militant.

The nabbed militant was identified as Babul Rava alias Kancha and police recovered a 9mm pistol, 14 rounds live ammunition, four batteries and some flexible wires in possession of him.
