Unaided private schools in Delhi can admit nursery students under management and other quotas, rules Delhi high court
Associations representing the affected schools had filed petitions challenging the government's order.
The high court (HC) also accepted 11 criteria proposed by the schools’ association as a replacement for the 62 criteria scrapped under the January 6 order, reported the local media.
The HC bench said that the government could not interfere into the autonomy of schools and the Jan 6 order was issued 'without any authority under law'.
The bench has also asked the Delhi government to take action private schools that were demanding money to admit students through management quota.
