Under-construction church vandalized in Haryana

Hisar, Mar 16 (IBNS) Fourteen people have been booked on charges of vandalizing an under-construction church in Haryana's Kaimri village, reports said on Monday.

According to reports, the miscreants reportedly vandalized the church and even replaced the cross with an idol of Hindu god Lord Hanuman.

A case was lodged in connection with the matter after Father Subhash Chand had lodged a complaint against 14 people.

In a bid to keep situation under control, police have been deployed in the village.

This incident occurred in Haryana at a time when several Christian institutions and churches in Delhi were attacked  in recent times.
