UP: 3 Dalit girls found dead, families allege gang rape and murder
Lucknow, Mar 22 (IBNS): In another shocking incident, three Dalit girls from Uttar Pradesh's Deoria district, who had gone missing since Friday, were found dead in a field on Saturday, media reports said on Sunday.
The families of the three girls reportedly suspect it to be a case of gang-rape and murder.
Two of the three girls were minors.
The victims' families said that the girls had gone to the fields to collect fodder around noon on Friday but did not return.
Their bodies were discovered in the fields by a local the next day, which had injury marks on the neck and head.
The police now awaiting the autopsy reports of the bodies.
