US Ambassador to India Juster visits Raj Bhavan

Panaji, Mar 9 (UNI) United States Ambassador to India Kenneth I Juster made his maiden visit to Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula, near the city on Friday.

Juster was welcomed by Goa Governor Mridula Sinha. He was informed about various issues regarding economic growth, social harmony and art and culture of Goa.

Juster was very much impressed by the architecture and aesthetic view of Raj Bhavan. During the talk with Governor, US Ambassador also inquired about tourism sector in the State. He was briefed on various aspects of tourism growth in the State.

The US envoy expressed his compliments to Governor Dr Sinha for her tremendous contribution in Hindi literature and social upliftment. He was accompanied by Consul General, Mumbai, Edgard D Kagan and other officials from US Embassy.

Secretary to Governor Rupesh Kumar Thakur, IAS, ADC to Governor Squadron Leader Rajveer Singh Rathore, ADC to Governor Vishram Borkar, Joint Secretary Biju Naik were present on the occasion.
