US-bound woman held at Jammu airport

Srinagar, Mar 11 (IBNS): The anti-hijacking unit at Jammu Airport intercepted a woman carrying 700 gram of gold, police said on Saturday.

According to reports, the woman, Rama Seth of West Wynleigh Drive, Greenville, US, was traveling from Jammu to the US via New Delhi when she was detained at the airport with 700 grams gold in the shape of jewellery and biscuits.

She was later handed over to the Income Tax Department for legal proceedings.
