Uttar Pradesh: Coaching instructor shot dead in Jaunpur

A coaching instructor was shot dead by unidentified assailants while he was sleeping in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district on Saturday, police said.

According to the police, Ajay Maurya (30), son of Alok Maurya, a resident of Gaddipur in Jafrabad police station area of the district, used to run Arisha coaching classes in the village.

As soon as the information was received, the police of Jafrabad police station immediately reached the spot took the body in its possession and sent it for post-mortem.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (City) Kuldeep Kumar Gupta said that four teams have been formed in this regard and the killers will be arrested soon.
