Uttar Pradesh: Couple commits suicide in Hardoi

Hardoi/UNI: A couple allegedly committed suicide in this Uttar Pradesh district on Monday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijay Rana said that Shivanand (21) and a 15-year-old girl, hailing from the Bhateura village in the Sursa police station area, were found hanging from a tree in the Harnam garden.

The DSP said that both of them were reportedly involved in a love affair but their parents were not agreeing to their marriage. As a result, they committed suicide, he added.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further probe is on.
