Uttar Pradesh: Father-son killed in road mishap

Barabanki, Jul 8 (UNI) A man and his son were killed in a road mishap at the Lucknow-Sultanpur highway in this district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

According to police, Ram Das (72) and Ayodhya (30) were en route to Amethi to visit a relative on a bike.

Meanwhile, a speeding vehicle rammed into their motorcycle near the Bhikhra village at the Lucknow-Sultanpur highway in the Haidergarh area, killing both on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as residents of Meherbanpurwa in the Haidergarh area.

Police is searching for the driver of the other vehicle who fled from the spot after the accident.
