Uttar Pradesh: One killed, 28 injured in road accident in Behraich

Behraich, May 18 (UNI) A woman died on the spot while her husband severely injured when a speeding bus rammed their motorbike in Motipur area here on Saturday. Bus was overturned after hitting the motorbike in which 27 passengers were injured.

Police sources here said that a bus heading towards Delhi rammed a motorbike near Girgitti village at Naanpara-Lakhimpur road on Saturday. Motorbike borne Rajendri (40) died on the spot in the accident while her husband Tirath was severely injured. 

The bus was overturned after hitting a motorbike in which 27 other people were injured.

Injured were rushed to the district hospital where 10 of them were stated to be in critical condition while some of them with minor injury were discharged after first aid.
