Unnao/IBNS: Two girls were found dead in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao on Wednesday evening, while the third is in critical condition in hospital, media reports said.

The three girls, aged 16, 13 and 17 years old, had left home on Wednesday afternoon to get fodder for animals.

When the girls did not return home by evening, the family started searching for them. They found the girls unconscious on a field.

While the two younger girls were declared dead when taken to a hospital, the oldest was taken to a hospital in Kanpur.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken for autopsy.

Police, as per the symptoms, said the two were possibly poisoned.

The family said they had no enmity with anyone.
