WB Gov Kesrinath Tripathi stable after minor surgery

Kolkata, May 9 (IBNS) : West Bnegal Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi, who underwent a minor surgery on Sunday night after bleeding from his nose, is now stable, doctors said on Monday.

"The condition of His Excellency, Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi, Honourable Governor of West Bengal, is stable hemodynamically and he is cheerful," a medical bulletin issued by Belle Vue Clinic said.

" There is no “active bleeding” from his nose. He had a peaceful sleep last night. Today, he had light breakfast with fruit juice," the bulletin said adding the Governor's condition is  being constantly monitored by the Medical Board.

Tripathi was admitted to the Clinic with acute Epistaxis (nose bleeding). He was found to have been bleeding from an artery in the nose with nasal spur bleeding.
