Will bring back every penny of black money: Modi
New Delhi, Nov 2 (IBNS): In his second "Mann Ki Baat" radio programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday assured the countrymen that he will bring back all the untaxed and black money stashed in foreign banks.
"As far as the Black Money scam is concerned, my fellow countrymen, please keep faith on your Prime Minister. I commit to you that your money will be brought back penny by penny. I will do my best to bring back India's money," Modi said while addressing the nation live through the All India Radio.
The Prime Minister said there might be many differences in the path followed to bring back the money stashed abroad, however, he added that: "I can assure you that we are in the right track."
He said bringing the black money was important irrespective of the amount.
Acknowledging people for participating in his Swachh Bharat Mission, Modi said he was glad that his cleanliness drive received so many responses.
Modi also announced that his government proposed scholarships for the disabled children.
He said Kendriya Vidyalayas will get Rs. 1 lakh to build infrastructure for specially-abled children.
He also invited opinion and views on his "Mann Ki Baat" programme via letters to Akashvani.
