Woman burned to death in fire while packing firecrackers in Bengal

Barrackpore, Mar 9 (UNI) Forty-five-year-old Hasina Bibi, a resident of North 24 Parganas, was killed in a fire while she was packing firecrackers at her Mukundopur home under Jagadal police station, police said today.

She was declared brought dead at the BN Bose Hospital after she was burned while packing fire crackers along with her daughter-in-law.

The daughter-in-law was unhurt in the fire, which sparked off from a burning mosquito repellent stick, last night.

The fire also damaged partly the residence.
