Woman voter dies after collapsing in queue due to fatigue

Kannur, Apr 23 (UNI) A Sexagenarian woman voter died after she collapsed due to fatigue when she was standing in a queue to cast her vote at Chockli near Thalassery on Tuesday.

According to police, the deceased was identified as Moodoli Vijaya (62) of Chockli. The incident occurred at 158 number polling booth at Rama Vilasam Higher Secondary school at Chockli around 0830 hrs.

She was rushed to Thalassery Indhira Gandhi hospital, but doctors declared brought dead.
