Lucknow, Jun 30 (UNI) Alleging that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was deceiving junior teachers, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday said that junior teachers were not getting remuneration as promised by Yogi government.

In a tweet, Vadra said, “UP government was ignoring plights of junior teachers. They were promised remuneration of Rs 17,000 per month but there were threats on their current payments of Rs 8,470. Is Yogi government has any reply on this dishonesty??”

UP government has ordered to reduce remuneration of junior teachers to Rs 7,000 from 8,470. Several associations raised the issue in front of government but nothing was done yet.

Earlier, Congress leader has raised issue of deteriorating law and order situation. She had alleged that criminals were roaming freely and government was failed to maintain the law and order. Following that UP deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had suggested Vadra to rejuvenate her party rather to make baseless allegations.
