Aakash Aath to welcome Mahalaya with night-long live program "Raat Pohalo Sharodo Praate"

Kolkata, Oct 9 (IBNS): Aakash Aath, a general entertainment channel, will be hosting a night long Live 8 hours musical show – Raat Pohalo Shaarodo Praate to usher in Mahalaya from 11 pm on Oct 11 till 7 am on Oct 12.

This Live phone in program will feature leading singers who promises to enthrall the audience the entire night. Mahalaya ‘Chandi paath’ and mantras will also be aired in Aakash Aath from 4 am for 30 minutes to coincide with the time of ‘Mahalaya’ to be aired on radio.

“This is for the first time a Bengali GEC will air 8 hours of LIVE program. We, at Aakash Aath, have always believed in giving something new to our audience. All the artistes are excited to be part of this unique musical initiative” said Eshita Surana, Director Aakash Aath.
