AakashAath channel launches crime thriller series Section 302

Kolkata, July 9 (IBNS): Aakash Aath, one of the most popular regional general entertainment channels, recently announced the launch of a crime thriller series, ‘Section 302’, based on true international and national incidents, to be aired from Monday.

The episodes of 'Section 302' will be based on real-life crime incidents.

The main objective of the series is to create awareness among the citizens to raise their voice against crime, including cyber crime.

The episodes will be directed different directors, including Riingo Banerjee, Anirban Chakraborty, Sayantan Mukherjee among others.

Popular actorssuch as Joy Bhattacharya, Indrajit Mazumder, Anindya Bose and Titas Bhowmick will be seen in some of the episodes.
 

“Producing meaningful entertainment by not faking but showcasing the hidden truth behind every crime has always been our USP. Creating awareness & alertness is our way of giving back to the society. So, I think the viewers will like this,” said Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash Aath.

Directors and artists of the series, including Riingo Banerjee, Sayantan Mukherjee, Joy Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakraborty, Indrajit Mazumder, Anindya Bose, were prersent at the inauguration along with Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash Aath and Ashok Surana, Chairman, Aakash Aath, Sandhi Mukherjee, IPS, former Inspector General of Police, West Bengal and V. Kumar, former Director General, Fire & ADG, Railways.

Said Sandhi Mukherjee, “Everybody should to spread the crime news in society. So that people can be conscious about the crimes. These types of  projects  will help us to aware about the crimes which are happening in our society."

V. Kumar said, “We all know that day by day the fight between political parties are increasing. Ego hassles are increasing day by day among family members. So the number of crimes are also increasing. Section 302 will help people to be aware about the crimes.”

The first story of the series that will go on air is ‘Ghoon’, which is directed by Anirban Chakraborty and has Chandreyee Ghosh, Anindyo Ghosh and Lama as the lead actors.

The episodes will be aired Monday to Wednesday from 9:30 pm on Aakash Aath.

Riingo Banerjee said, “From the very beginning of this “Section 302” I was interested  to make some stories, which will be based on real life events. Our first episode story is based on a lesbian. It is based on a real incident. We have tried to show the audience, something different and new types of stories.”

Anirban Chakraborty said, “First of all I want to say thanks to Aakash Aath. There are different directors and every one's art of stylization are different from another.”

Ashok Surana, Chairman of Aakash  Aath said, “We are trying to improve the  channel’s presentations and the quality of the serials. I think Section 302 will spread some helpful and meaningful messages to the society.”
