Abhishek Bachchan asks people to be careful as Covid-19 situation looks grim in India

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has asked people of his country to remain careful as the daily spike in Novel Coronavirus cases is nearing one-lakh mark in India.

Bachchan on Friday tweeted, "Wear your mask, please. Don’t take this virus lightly."

He said in another tweet, "95,735 !!!!!! That’s the amount of cases detected in just 1 day in India. Please be careful."

India, a vast country of 1.3 billion people, on Friday reported 96,551 new cases taking the tally of infections to over 45 lakhs.

Bachchan, his actor father Amitabh Bachchan, actress wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya had earlier contracted Covid-19 and also recovered from the respiratory disease.
