After that she did two films with  Bengali arthouse filmmaker Buddhadeb Dasgupta and was nominated as Best Actress at the Shanghai and Dubai Film Festivals for her role in Ant Story, directed by Mostofa Farooki and picked up by Netflix.

Sheena used her platform as an actress to campaign for human rights, becoming South Asia Ambassador for Youth for Human Rights, the world’s largest human rights education program.

Sheena was awarded the Human Rights Hero Award at the United Nations, becoming the first Indian to receive the award, and it was for this that The Global Summit gave her the Excellent in Leadership Award.
