Ajay Devgan, Sonakshi Sinha to recreate Mungda song in Total Dhamaal

Mumbai, Aug 23 (IBNS): Actors Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha are all set to recreate iconic Mungda song, which was earlier enacted by actress Helen, in upcoming Hindi film Total Dhamaal.

Helen was seen featuring in the particular song in Inkaar, which released in 1978.

The four-day shooting for the song in Total Dhamaal will begin on Aug 26.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha to recreate iconic track #Mungda for #TotalDhamaal... The original song, a chartbuster, was filmed on Helen... Filming begins 26 Aug 2018... It will be a 4-day shoot... The song is a duet towards the end... #TotalDhamaal is directed by Indra Kumar."

Total Dhamaal is a sequel to 2011 film Double Dhamaal and the third installment of Dhamal series.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Jaaved Jaffrey, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Desmukh, Esha Gupta and others in various roles.

Indra Kumar directorial film is expected to release on Dec 7.
