Akshay Kumar starts shooting for Ram Setu

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has started shooting for his upcoming film Ram Setu.

He has shared an image from the set of the movie.

He revealed that the character he plays in the film is that of an archeologist.

"The journey of making one of the most special films for me begins today. #RamSetu shooting begins! Playing an archaeologist in the film. Would love to hear your thoughts on the look? It always matters to me," he tweeted.

In the image, Akshay could be seen sporting an unkempt hair and a bespectacled look.

The movie also features actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha.

This is the first film to be produced by OTT giant Amazon Prime Video.

It is directed by Abhishek Sharma.
