AskMe embarks on marketing blitz with Roy

Mumbai, Jan 30 (IBNS): AskMe, a leading consumer Internet company, launched a marketing initiative in association with the much awaited movie 'Roy', which stars the brand ambassador of AskMe, Ranbir Kapoor.
In an unusual deal, AskMe has signed a marketing and promotion deal with T-Series for a peppy number branded for ASKME in movie Roy. The core proposition of brand of youthfulness and bonding goes down perfectly with the song and movie Roy.
 
The song “SoorajDooba Hai Yaaron” is been shot with the brand very subtly yet tightly integrated in the track. In film branding is a great way to connect with your target audience in most engaging way. Every highly anticipated film starring big names have in-film branding deals. 
 
Keeping up with its tradition of innovation, ASKME has put a very innovative strategy for in movie promotion. Moving away from the conventional trends of inserting brand in film sequences, the movie has included a song titled ‘AskMe’. The brand leverages the golden rule of marketing – “AskMe anything”, by strategically and prominently placing it in the song. Indian cinema remains a common thread which binds all the fans together throughout the world. AskMe targets to reach out a larger audience base through the global appeal of Indian cinemas. 
 
The song captures the passion of brand that symbolizes constantly engaging with customer through innovative and thrilling shopping experiences. . The natural inclusion of brand in the song illustrates how brand identifies with today’s always on the move generation.

Roy is an upcoming Indian romantic thriller film directed by debutant Vikramjit Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar & Freeway Pictures and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor.The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles.
