The makers announced the release date while unveiling new posters of the three lead actors.

The first look of the film will be unveiled in theatres on March 18.

“For more info, make your way to the theatres this Wednesday, March 18,” Shahid wrote on X.

The plot of Cocktail 2, which is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail, is expected to explore themes of love, friendship and emotional dynamics in a modern urban romance setting, similar to the original film.

Directed by Homi Adajania, the film is written by Luv Ranjan and produced by Maddock Films.

The original Cocktail, also directed by Adajania, starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in the lead roles.
