COVID-19 positive Akshay Kumar hospitalised, says he is 'doing fine'

Mumbai: Actor Akshay Kumar, who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, on Monday said he has been hospitalised.

"Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working. I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon. Take care."

Akshay posted on Twitter on Sunday to inform his fans that he has tested COVID-19 positive.

Akshay Kumar has a line-up of films ahead including the highly-awaited Sooryavanshi and Ram-Setu among others.
