Los Angeles, May 2 (IBNS): Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson turned 45 on Tuesday.

The wrestler-turned-actor had first made a significant mark in the world of movies with his 2002 release The Scorpion King.

Away from wrestling rings, he has gained appreciation for his performance on the silver screen since then.

He was last seen recently in 2017 release The Fate of the Furious.

Dwayne will soon be seen in Baywatch.

The movie is based on hit American TV series by the same name.

The film will mark the Hollywood debut of Indian actress Priyanka Chopra.

She wished the actor and posted on Instagram: "Happy birthday @therock you are one of the nicest most driven people I have ever met. Always an inspiration for everyone who works with you. Thank you for being such a positive force in everything i do. Here's wishing you tremendous love happiness and laughter!
