Farah replaces Salman as Bigg Boss host

Mumbai, Jan 4 (IBNS): In a sudden twist, famous director Farah Khan has been roped in to host the remaining four weeks of the Bigg Boss season 8.
Farah will replace popular host Salman Khan, who has been associated with the show since 2006.

Salman could not complete the entire season, which got extended, as the show was coinciding with his shooting dates for his upcoming film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.

While hosting his last episode on Saturday and passing on the batons to his friend Farah, the superstar said he is sure the show is in "safe hands."

The Happy New Year director will now host the Bigg Boss Halla Bol series in her own style.

Farah is herself a very big fan of the show and is stepping into Salman's shoes because he is not available.

"Late nite in lonavla.. Getting briefed by the #BigbBoss team for tomorrow's big day n getting great tips frm @BeingSalmanKhan on what to do," she had earlier tweeted.

Meanwhile, two strong contenders Punit Issar and Sonali Raut were evicted from the House on Saturday.

The competition is expected to get bigger with five new challengers (housemates of last seasons) entering the house to give a tough fight to the existing five 'champions' of this season.
