It's a wrap: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt finish filming for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra

Mumbai/IBNS: Leading Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have wrapped up their shooting for director Ayan Mukerji's upcoming and much-awaited Hindi film Brahmastra.

Bhatt, who is buoyant by her recent success in shouldering Gangubai Kathiawadi virtually alone, took to Instagram to share a picture where she, her actor boyfriend Kapoor and Mukerji were seen outside a temple.

She wrote, "We started shooting in 2018. And now … finally .. The filming of Brahmastra (Part One) comes to an end !! I’ve been wanting to say this for such a long time.. ITS A WRAP!!!!!!!! See you at the cinemas. 09.09.2022."

Brahmastra is a fantasy trilogy produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

In the film, Bhatt plays the love interest of Shiva essayed by Kapoor.

This is the first film where the celebrity couple is sharing screen space together.

The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on Sept 9.
