Jim Carrey is willing to return as 'The Mask' nearly three decades since the original released
Three decades after The Mask was released on the big screen and became one of the most popular Hollywood movies ever, actor Jim Carrey has expressed his willingness to perform the iconic green-faced character once again.
Carrey, who is known for his comic timing, said he is willing to play the role if the right script is offered to him.
He told comicbook.com: "It’s not really about the money. I joke about the money."
"I said I’d like to retire, but I think I was talking more about power-resting. Because as soon as a good idea comes your way, or a group of people that you really enjoyed working with and stuff, it just – things tend to change," he said.
Carrey retired from movies in 2022.
He is returning to the big screen with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 which will release on the silver screen next week.

A standalone sequel without the involvement of Carrey, Son of the Mask, was released in 2005 to critical and commercial failure.
